Cockburn's has been making port since 1815, and their long standing tradition of excellent wine is alive and well today. The grapes found in the Douro region in Portugal are well suited for making this port.

A long aging process in wood gives the Cockburn's Fine Tawny Port wine a lovely nuttiness and butterscotch flavor, but also a chewy fruitiness, with flavors of raisins and dried figs. Enjoy a toffee nose with a smooth, full flavor.

The wine is a good match with rich, creamy deserts, or follow a local secret and pour it generously over vanilla ice cream. No matter how it is paired, we recommend serving it chilled and sharing it with friends and family, or even sending this wine as a gift. It will also stay fresh for at least 8 weeks, so it makes for a great gift to savor.
