Located in the heart of Napa Valley’s Stags Leap District, the Stags’ Leap Winery continues a proud winemaking tradition in the prestigious appellation that bears the winery's name. The Stags’ Leap Winery released its first commercial vintage in 1893, and to this day, the estate adheres to classical standards of viticulture and vinification that are as relevant now as they were over a century ago.

In the glass, this 2016 Stags’ Leap Merlot showcases the grape’s ability to excel in Napa Valley with its generous fruit flavors, intriguing tobacco spice notes, and polished structure. It’s incredibly pleasurable and complex with black cherry and plum flavors followed by notes of caramel and cinnamon that persist through the long finish.
