The 2016 Motherload Napa Valley Red Wine Blend is an amazing accomplishment comprised of 53.6% Merlot, 41.3% Cab Franc, and 5.1% Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose on this wine bursts with a plethora of dark red fruits such as plum, cherry, raspberry, and ripe strawberry. As for the palate, the wine had lush fruit and a pretty floral quality that fills the mouth with rich velvety tannins without any dryness of a typical Cabernet. This wine pairs well with cheeses, charcuterie, and grilled meats.
