There's plenty of power and torque in this inky red, with aromas of ripe blueberry, tar and licorice opening to complex flavors of smoky plum and peppered beef. The tannins are big but refined. Look for notes of black plums and blackberries as well as vanilla, black and white pepper, and smoked meats. The Tensley Colson Canyon Syrah 2015 is drinking well now but will continue to age nicely over the next 7 years. Drink now through 2027
