With a history that dates back to the 16th century and over 100 hectares of prized vineyard holdings, Château de Beaucastel is one of the benchmark estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Year after year, the estate’s Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge ranks among the greatest wines produced in France, famously incorporating all 13 of the region's authorized grape varieties to achieve incredible complexity in the final blend. Beaucastel’s signature is a relatively high proportion of Mourvèdre, a rustic, thick-skinned grape that gives the wine its deep color, brooding tannins, and profound durability in the cellar.

Beaucastel’s 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is an amazing effort, with an alluring bouquet of raspberry liqueur, exotic Asian spices, and garrigue. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, opulent, and spicy, with the concentration and structure to carry it forward for 15-20 years. Globally regarded, highly coveted, and rated 96 points by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate, Beaucastel’s 2015 Châteauneuf will make a worthy addition to any wine collection.
