Named after the vineyard’s original owners, the Nebbiolo for this wine is culled from the clay-rich soil of the Dagromis site in La Morra and Gaja’s site in Serralunga.
The nose opens with attractive notes of fresh leather, lemongrass, and orange peel. On the palate, the wine shows classic flavors of sour Morello cherry, rose petal, and violets. The tannins are silky and well balanced by acidity and concentration of flavor. The finish is clean, with a pleasant hint of red apple skin that lingers.
Balanced, smooth, and deceptively powerful, Gaja’s Barolo "Dagromis" allows Barolo lovers to enjoy Gaja’s artistry at a relatively affordable price. Pair this Gaja Nebbiolo with a custom label or engraving and your favorite lamb dish for a truly amazing experience.
