Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc comes from Marlborough, New Zealand, on the northern tip of the South Island. The winery was founded by Kim and Erica Crawford in 1996 and sold to Constellation Brands in 2003. The Marlborough region's warm days, cool nights, and free-draining soils are well-suited to Sauvignon Blanc, and Kim Crawford's became one of the wines most responsible for establishing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc as a category in the U.S. market.
Tasting notes: lifted citrus, tropical fruit, and crushed herbs on the nose. Fresh and juicy on the palate with vibrant acidity, ripe tropical fruit (passion fruit, melon, grapefruit), and a long finish. Very pale yellow color.
This wine has been named to the Wine Spectator Top 100 four times and the "2019 Wine & Spirits Restaurant Top 10" Sauvignon Blanc category. Available with a custom label.
