This is the 3 liter double magnum format of one of California's most celebrated Cabernets. Silver Oak has been making Napa Valley Cabernet since 1972 and is known for its approachable, American oak aged style. Unlike most Napa producers, Silver Oak uses 100 percent American oak barrels rather than the French oak more commonly used in the region, giving the wine a signature vanilla, coconut, and dill character alongside its ripe fruit.

Deep ruby in color, the 2019 vintage is an opulent wine with notes of cassis, ripe raspberry, toasted coconut, and shiitake mushroom. It has a rich entry, depth through the midpalate, and great structure without being heavy, along with exceptional length on the finish. Fresh cherry flavors balanced with floral notes and a subtle hint of black pepper add complexity, and plush tannins support its ageworthiness. Given proper cellaring conditions, this wine will show beautifully through 2040.
