Tenuta San Guido is the producer of Sassicaia, the legendary Bordeaux-style blend that started the “Super Tuscan” phenomenon in the 1970s. To this day, proper Sassicaia sells for hundreds of dollars per bottle, but since the 2000 vintage, the estate has also produced a wine called Guidalberto that is sourced from younger vines from the same vineyard.

"A deep, dark ruby-red color is by no means opaque. The complex aromas are typically Italian, with notes of forest floor, herbs & anise over dark red-cherries. Lively acidity lifts delicate raspberry fruit that is overlaid by savory, soy-sauce notes, rich-licorice & gamey hints. A perfumed mid-palate reveals rich red-plum fruit & licorice. Tannins are very fine & the wine is at best medium-bodied. The delicate finish is soft & enduring."

This wine is a perfect pairing with rich foods like meat sauce pastas, veal, and wild game. Personalize this red blend wine bottle with a special label or custom engraving to create the ultimate gift of appreciation today.
