Hennessy 'VS' Cognac

Hennessy VS (Very Special) is the most widely sold cognac in the world. Maison Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy in Cognac, France, and VS is the entry-level expression in their lineup. The blend uses eaux de vie from the four premier crus of Cognac: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. The youngest component is aged at least two years in Limousin oak.

On the nose: fresh toast, roasted almond, and brown sugar with subtle fruit aromas. On the palate: rich and creamy with vanilla and a fresh, floral finish.

Hennessy VS works well in cocktails (Sidecar, Hennessy and ginger ale, Brandy Alexander) or on the rocks. It's 40% ABV.
