A rare French Chardonnay crafted by Bordeaux winemaker Benoit Trocard in his hometown of Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, in the heart of Saint-Émilion. Dubreuil is Trocard's personal Chardonnay project, produced in Bordeaux but classified as Vin de France because Chardonnay isn't a traditional Bordeaux variety. Production is limited to roughly 4,700 bottles per year. Custom engrave the bottle with a name, monogram, message, or logo for a wedding, anniversary, executive thank-you, or milestone birthday gift.
Tasting Notes Nose: ripe orchard fruit, citrus zest, white flowers, hints of light oak. Palate: balanced acidity with notes of pear, lemon curd, hazelnut, and a touch of vanilla. Finish: clean, mineral, persistent.
About Dubreuil Dubreuil is the Chardonnay project of Benoit Trocard, a Bordeaux winemaker whose family has crafted wine in the region for generations. Trocard produces this Chardonnay at his estate in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, a commune in the heart of Saint-Émilion. Because Chardonnay isn't a permitted variety under Bordeaux AOC rules, the wine carries the Vin de France classification, a French legal designation that gives winemakers more flexibility while preserving the wine's French provenance. Each bottle is individually numbered out of approximately 4,700.
Why the 2019 vintage matters 2019 was a strong year for European white wines, producing Chardonnays with concentrated fruit, vibrant acidity, and excellent balance. Approachable now and structured to evolve in the cellar.
Personalize Yes, every bottle of Dubreuil Chardonnay can be custom engraved with a name, monogram, date, message, photo, or logo through Personal Wine.
