Flor de Cana 18 Year Rum

Flor de Caña 18 Year Rum is sustainably produced, from field to bottle, and the only spirit in the world to be both Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade certified. The rum is distilled with 100% renewable energy and the brand has planted 50,000 trees annually since 2005. It’s produced in compliance with over 300 rigorous labor, social and environmental standards.

Flor de Caña is naturally aged in premium bourbon barrels sealed with plantain leaves, producing a distinguished and elegant rum with tropical notes. This undisturbed aging process gives the rum its remarkable amber color and rich flavor without the aid of accelerants, or unnatural additives and with zero sugar content.

Tasting Note: Bright mahogany brown color. Full of rich oak spice, some zesty orange peel, dark brown sugars, dark caramel toffee, and nutmeg aromas. Also hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and anise. Dry and spicy, with layers of cocoa, dark caramel, and spice. A strong oak presence that starts to dominate after a while. Long, smooth, and clean. Presence of walnut and dark chocolate. Oaky, leathery, and smokey notes steal the polish from the finish.
